Using Art and Design to Account for Climate Change
Art connecting us to data
Climate Change data, and how organisations report on their environmental effect is often impenetrable or so dumbed-down it’s a switch off.
Glasgow School of Art CommDes students, accountants from the University of Glasgow and Glasgow City Council are getting together to see how we can change this, and how we can present data in ways people can digest. It’s about connecting people to data in ways that doesn’t scare them or dazzle them with figures and science. It will use art and design fundamentals to make the presentation of environmental data from Glasgow City Council more readable and accessible for everyone.
Come and join us on Monday 23 November at City Chambers, 9am-12pm then lunch, limited spaces but all staff and students welcome. RSVP to Thereza at UofG
