At our Summer and Winter Degree Shows we make awards to students who have exhibited the best understanding and presentation of environmental and social justice issues. The latter can include issues around gender, race and sexuality and other areas of social justice.

If you’re graduating this year, please think about entering for the prizes and contact John the Sustainability Coordinator to discuss your work.

There is no formal entry form. Submissions should be a maximum of two pages of text (minimum font size 11) and images. This summary is used by the judges to shortlist up to 10 finalists.

A guide to the judging criteria is available Winners will receive £250 prize money and be awarded at graduation.

Key Dates

UG and MFA graduating students

Applications close noon on Monday 20th May. Finalists will be advised and a judging round in-person will take place on the morning of Wednesday 29th May.

Graduate Degree Show graduating students

Applications close noon on Tuesday 13th August. Finalists will be advised and a judging round in-person will take place on the morning of Thursday 22nd August.
