Fundraising Community Dinner

Every Thursday Kinning Park Complex hosts a community meal on a pay-what-you-want basis.

For Freshers’ Week, the GSA’s Intersectional Feminism Society have invited Isabelle Kerr manager of GCRC along to give a short talk.

Our own Art School kitchen team will be working alongside the KPC kitchen team together to prepare a delicious dinner for all. All donations go towards fundraising for Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis Centre.

KPC are also hosting another event alongside this as part of Doors Open Day, Kinning Park: A moving history of struggle. It’s a chance to discover the history of women’s activism at Kinning Park which is where the very first women’s Co-operative in Scotland began in 1890. There will be a tour around the building at 5pm and they also have a speaker at 7.30pm, after the community meal.
