Glasgow Goes Green Festival
Part of Go Green Week 2016
Go Green Week (8-14th February) is the UK’s biggest nationwide week of student climate action. We thought it would be really fun for all universities in Glasgow to get together and showcase all the great goings to a public audience across the city.
On Thursday 11th February we are hosting our first ever GGG Festival at SWG3 with workshops, films, music, food and drink – all linked together by sustainability and of course, our favourite city, Glasgow!
So far confirmed we have: – The Bike Station ‘Fix Your Own Bike’ – RADIAL Reuse Collective – GCU Travel Advisors – GUEST Fashion Swap – MAKLab Clothes Repair – GSA Craftbrewers ‘Brew Your Own Beer’ – Live poetry performances – ‘Making Music from Reclaimed Materials’ – Sustainable Shorts film series – Throwaway Gourmet food surplus cafe – Scottish Green Party – samaniona – Philanthrobeats
plus a fully stocked bar!
Entry is free but ticketed – available via Eventbrite here.
Fancy a bike ride to the festival? Join our musical critical mass over 5 universities in Glasgow that will take you to SWG3 venue. More information: http://on.fb.me/1OKDnIP
