Sustainability Day at Freshers

Get involved

Come and join us for the first ever sustainability day at GSA. We have….

Dr Bike

Back by popular demand DR Bike are in residence to fix up your wheels for free. Just bring your bike to the bourdon yard (enter through the Scott Street gate). Tip-get there early!

Come rummage in our drawers for free stuff! We have clothes, books, kitchen stuff galore, tons of art materials and a wizard costume. Bring items you no longer need and swap them for something new. Arrive early to avoid disappointment and don’t forget your canvas bag.

The art school kitchen will be cooking up a special brunch that’s going put sustainable food on the map. Meat free and packed with local, seasonal produce served to good tunes.

Waste Makes

Free, drop in workshops running throughout the day.
Make and take away your own pinhole camera from salvaged materials.
Design and create a jar terrarium- your very own mini eco system for your flat.
Create a handy wallet from a used carton.

Waste Makes Exchange

We welcome your knowledge of salvaged and scrounged DIY. Share your projects or adapt your new finds from RUMMAGE. We’ll have basic tools and a sewing machine available for you to use.
