ThrowAwayGourmet

Collect, cook, eat, share

ThrowAwayGourmet is a regular feast at the Glasgow School of Art that utilises surplus food.

The meal is organised on a feed-in and be-fed basis. The purpose of the event is to strengthen the community within the GSA whilst raising awareness of food wastage and the impact of eating habits. The event provides a unique platform for discussion and conversation across years and subjects because it is an open event. Fruit and vegetables are sourced from produce that is being discarded from a market on the outskirts of Glasgow.

The project is fuelled by your time and help in return for some Wheelie Good Food!! “See their Facebook page for more ThrowAwayGourmet
