S A V E Energy

Take Personal Action on Wasted Energy

It’s obvious but we need to do more: saving energy means less environmental impact and money saved. So what can you do?

Learn how to control your heating and lighting. If you can’t control it ask, why?

Turn off lights and equipment when not in use. Check it’s not needed and turn it off!

Become a staff or student energy champion. A few hours each term to press these issues home.

Raise energy use as an issue at SSCCs and forums. If waste is not an issue, why not?

...and a simple action. Don’t overfill kettles. A classic simple way to waste energy.
